This Defender 90 is one of approximately 656 examples produced for the South African market between 1997 and 2001. It has undergone a comprehensive FRAME OFF nut-and-bolt restoration, including a complete engine rebuild, in South Africa in 2025 before being imported to the United States. The chassis is fully galvanized for enhanced durability, and the interior has been completely soundproofed beneath all carpeting and seating to provide a quiet and refined ride.

Finished in Land Rover’s iconic Heritage Green with a contrasting white roof, this Defender 90 pays homage to the brand’s storied legacy. Inside, it features a luxurious Saddle Tan leather interior, complemented by a premium Alcantara roof lining, which together create a sophisticated and inviting cabin.

The Defender is equipped with LED exterior lighting, 16″ steel wheels wrapped in Mud-Terrain T/A tires, with a matching spare mounted on the rear swing-out door. Additional features include tubular side steps, Alpine windows, and a receiver hitch, making this Defender as functional as it is stylish.

The interior is designed with both comfort and elegance in mind, featuring front bucket seats and rear inward-facing jump seats, all upholstered in rich Saddle Tan leather. Comfort-enhancing features include air conditioning, a dash-mounted USB charging port, an analog clock, black rubber floor mats, and a padded center console with cup holders. The two-spoke steering wheel, wrapped in wood, frames a 200-km/h speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level, keeping the driver informed with all essential metrics.

For modern entertainment, this Defender 90 is equipped with a One Nav entertainment screen, which includes a reverse camera, adding convenience and safety. Whether you’re navigating city streets or venturing off-road, this fully restored Defender 90 combines timeless design with modern upgrades for an exceptional driving experience.
